What is a pipe cap?  

Pipe cap is a kind of pipe fitting, pipe cap is welded at the end of the pipe or installed on the end of the outer thread to cover the pipe fitting, used to close the pipe, the function is the same as the pipe plug, pipe cap includes convex pipe cap, cone shell, reducer section, flat cover and tight caliber design.  Convex pipe caps include: hemispherical pipe caps, oval pipe caps, butterfly pipe caps and ball cap.  From the point of view of force, the convex cap is gradually bad from the semi-star cap, but from the point of view of manufacturing difficulty, it is gradually good to manufacture.  

Application: water, beverage, food, petrochemical, nuclear power, machinery, shipbuilding, water treatment, pipeline, etc.  

The packaging of tube caps before delivery is divided into wooden cases, cartons, pallets, etc. In addition, different packaging is carried out according to the requirements of customers, such as cartons, etc.  

Only radial and circumferential weld directions are allowed for pipe caps during welding.  The welding distance should be greater than 3 and not less than 100mm as required. The welding heat affected zone is a high stress zone, and the chemical composition in this zone will be burned.  Therefore, high stress area should be avoided, which is related to thickness. According to practical experience, stress attenuation length is greater than 3 and not less than 100mm, but it is difficult for refrigeration equipment to meet this requirement, especially special.  

The head is formed after the welding of the pipe cap, and the welding seam should be tested by 100% ray or ultrasonic. The qualified level goes with the equipment shell, and the final welding seam detection level is the same as the equipment shell, which is high waste.  Pipe cap is a pipe fitting installed on the pipe end during pipe installation.
