Requirements for the manufacture of carbon steel pipe caps
Casing cap, also known as cap, plug, cap, pipe cap, or cap, a fitting welded to or mounted on external threads at the end of a pipe to cap off a pipe. Used to close the pipeline, the function is the same as pipe blocking.
The form of the blind plate is similar, except that the blind plate is removable and the welded pipe cap is not removable. The design of the pipe cap includes a convex pipe cap, a cone shell, a reducer section, a flat cap and a tightening mouth.
Convex tube caps include: hemispherical tube caps, oval tube caps, dish-shaped tube caps and ball-shaped tube caps. From the point of view of force, the convex tube cap from the hemispherical tube cap is gradually not good, but from the point of view of manufacturing difficulty, it is gradually easy to manufacture.
Tube cap standard: GB/T12459-2005, GB/T13401-2005.
Pipe cap uses: water, beverage, beer, food, petrochemical, nuclear power, machinery, fertilizer, shipbuilding, water treatment, pipeline, etc.
What are the production requirements of the tube cap?
The manufacture, inspection and acceptance of pipe caps shall not only comply with the provisions of this standard, but also meet the requirements of composite drawing or ordering technical agreement.
