Application of carbon steel pipe cap in pipeline  

 Other names for pipe caps: head, plug, cap, pipe cap, bulkhead.  Use: Pipe fitting welded to Pipe end or mounted on Pipe end external thread to cover and block Pipe.  Used to seal the pipeline, the function is the same as pipe blocking.  The blind plate is similar in form, except that the blind plate is removable plug, while the welded pipe cap is not removable.  The cap [1] includes the design of convex cap, cone shell, reducer section, flat cap and tightening orifice.  

Carbon steel pipe cap use: welded on the pipe end or installed on the pipe end of the external thread to cover the pipe fittings.  Used to seal the pipeline, the function is the same as pipe blocking.  Carbon steel pipe cap pipe cap includes convex pipe cap, cone shell, reduced diameter section, flat cover and the design of tightening mouth.  Convex pipe caps of carbon steel include: hemispherical pipe caps, oval pipe caps, disc pipe caps and dome pipe caps.  From the point of view of force, convex pipe cap is gradually bad from the hemispherical pipe cap, but from the point of view of manufacturing difficulty, gradually good manufacturing.  The welding direction of carbon steel pipe cap is radial and circumferential only.  This requirement may be removed for larger caps in the future.  The splicing distance should be greater than 3δ and not less than 100mm (the weld heat affected zone is a high stress zone, and there will be burning loss of chemical composition in this zone.  So avoid areas of high stress, which are related to thickness.  According to practical experience, the stress attenuation length is greater than 3δ and not less than 100mm).  But refrigeration equipment is difficult to meet this requirement, has its particularity.
